IDEAS ARE BIOLOGICAL ORGANISMS.

To define them: observe their behavior!

We tend to say that ideas are constructions of the mind, like they are a byproduct of energy impulses jumping from neuron to neuron. Maybe we are focusing on the foot prints or the shadows of the ideas.

I believe ideas are biological organisms, just like any other form of life.

Ideas seem to share all the behaviors of life organisms: they reproduce by interchange with other ideas -sexual reproduction-; they fight for control of territory and resources; they grow; they get week and even die; they have symbiotic and conflicting relationships.

Like many other life forms, ideas can take hold of their environment in a way that eventually destroys it by taking too many resources and polluting for the benefit and expansion of the idea to other environments. Dark Ages ring a bell?

Smaller, less dense, or just

right under our nose?

During the plague of medieval times, a doctor explained to the Pope that probably the air was poisoned. Isn’t that a great way to explain the problem without using the terms microbes? At the time, we didn’t have the tools to see microscopic life forms neither we had the logic tools to deduct the existence of life smaller than the eye can see.

Ideas may be life forms of a different size, frequency or composition, just beyond our current abilities to measure.

Even if the easily observable similitude of behavior between ideas and any other life form is not enough to conclude that ideas are life forms, imagine what we can do if we accept this possibility.

Once we admit this concept, then we can start looking for the metabolism process of ideas, ways to feed them, ways to kill them, ways to increase our immunity to the most aggressive parasite ideas, ways to help the proliferation of the most beneficial ideas.

A better humanity from the guts out. We cannot complete a thinking process or idea without our heads but that doesn’t mean we think only inside the head. Probably all our neurons, neural liquids, cells, bacteria, viruses and even things around us are used by our ideas.

Practical Applications:

Possible Vaccines to protect the minds from destructive parasites ideas.

Conscious design of the evolution of our consciousness by promoting the fertilization of some ideas and the starvation of others.

We may become able to initiate a new Age of environment protection for ideas.

My wife Katherine recently told me that Emotions are also live forms, and so, Emotions also live on an ecosystem and each Emotion promotes their own existence and the existence of compatible Emotions.

So, maybe, everything that exist are life forms, Ideas, Emotions and all.

With information as source of energy, I think that we will first make machines that provide us with the things we need; then we will live inside one of those machines that will take information from the outside environment and use it to keep the inside of the machine comfortable for us; but at the end we will change ourselves into something like balls of energy that can take information from the universe to keep our own existence. Have you ever felt very, very tired with the extreme need of a nap or short sleep and then after you wake up life comes with an accelerated number of significant events?

If you were paying attention to my Bullshit #3 you already know that time and space are perceptional illusions caused by the limitation on perception, just like a blue filter in one eye and a red one in the other limits each eye perception allowing the illusion of 3D video.

Maybe our jelly composition doesn’t allow enough information to be hold at any given time and therefore we need to clear the buffer and also, we receive packages of information regularly, with the biggest downloads happening while we sleep.

I believe our minds save the past memories in the same way and form that we store what we need to know about the future in advance. DO I LIKE EINSTEIN?

Few things can irritate an arrogant more than another arrogant. Einstein sure was a great mind but he was probably more arrogant than I am and that can get to my nerves.

Declaring the speed of light an unsurpassable Universal constant, implies the arrogance to know the conditions on every and all corners of the Infinite.

I know I got it against Einstein also on my Bullshit #2 but forgive me, is just because and I can’t yet digest well the relativity of it all.

LIGHT DOES NOT EVEN TRAVEL.

Light just exists, is just information interacting with the rest of the information of this creation, no movement or change at all.

But I think that depending on the corner of the Universe that we are in, the conditions may alter light particles and information as well as everything else, changing therefore it’s perceivable velocity as we feel it.

It is almost 2019, do you really believe nothing can go faster than light? Even on our corner of the Universe there are things that go way faster than light; check “teleportation of physical properties”, is not even that new.

I was wondering what will I ask if the Gennie of the Universe allows me one wish?

It may happen to anyone of us, so I advise you to give so thought to the question.

After a few minutes going around the pros and cons of asking my whisk about health, happiness, love, fame, power, by the brute force of simplicity and flexibility it came down to money…

HOW MUCH MONEY SHALL I ASK FOR?

Seems like a simple question but it gets complicated once you focus on the details. How much moneys shall I have to be sure that I will never ever need money again?

I started my estimate with a big number, 1 Trillion US$, but then I go a little scared factoring inflation, rise of gas and food cost, fancy gifts to compensate for lack of love, cost of medical services to compensate for lack of health and so on.

So as a cushion I duplicated the amount 12 times, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 and so forth, it got me to about 2,000 Trillion, at that point I was feeling safer that I will have enough money for the rest of my life.

The it hit me that the wish is already granted, I will reach a point in my life where I will have more money than I will ever need.

Since then I see my death day as my “becoming rich” celebration day.

What will you do different if you know for sure that the day will come when you will have more money than you will ever need?

Evidently if only what matters to me and you is taken care on all our trades, we will rob the apple tree.

But there may be another way. Imagine that things are sold for the amount of money that buyer and seller agree, plus the amount of money needed to repair nature so it can produce more of the same traded good.

Some regulations do that but I don’t think regulations are the way. What is sure is that we are selling important things like oil to a cash depleted humanity that can barely pay around $100 per barrel.

If I give you $1000 per barre, will that be enough to cover your costs to repair nature to its state before the oil was produced? From oil field to plastic bags on the ocean, what is the real price of oil? How much trade deficit can the biosphere take?

So once the people have decided the priority for their common needs, and the winners of the bids are selected, then money is created by the mandate of the people.

Yes, there will be inflation but we may have a different kind of inflation when we are adding new problems to be solved every time we create money than the type of inflation we get when money is added to a system that is trading the same things.

In the other hand, what is worst: Venezuela’s kind of inflation or having plastic and mercury on your shell fish and every other kind of food?

I think inflation is a better problem than having to get used to eat jellyfish.

IF IT IS ALL INFORMATION, THEN WHAT?

Maybe information is also like ideas, a life form. If so it is thinkable that information will eat each other and do other more lovey forms of interaction too.

A PROBLEM SOLVER AND 

A MAKER OF NEW PROBLEMS.

Maybe besides experiencing the illusions of change, and many; the information ecosystem on the Universe looks for ways to solve problems created within the absurdity of its limited form as we observe it.

WHY NOT TO PLAY SUPERMAN?

Yes, Superman is a fictional character as far as we know but it is fun to think of him as possible and then try to see the world trough his eyes and try to solve problems from within his reality.

 

What if we are all being digested for the good of the Universe?

If this is in any shape or form close to reality, then the Universe (the totality of Information) may eternally morph from one gluttony's indigestion to the next one. From Big Bang to Big Crap?

Maybe Music is a byproduct of our brains digestions of information. Not all excretions are untasty, yogurt is not bad. Maybe we make music once we have eaten enough of the rhythms and information around us and we can’t help it but to put it out, it certainly can create a positive feeling in some senses similar to a good visit to the crapper.

What about the other forms of art? I bet you will agree with me that some arts really seem like ….

At our level -to exclude quantic level- at least starting from cells, bacteria and virus, we are all trying to decide if and how to invest energy into every manifestation of our environment -stimulus-

Ever a perfect answer?

NO! not even close.

Each possible reaction, will carry pross and cons, in a formula that goes something around: 90% of the pros and cons of the F chosen + about 50% of the pros and cons of the other 2 Fs.

Can it be that simple?

I think every single story, myth or explanation about ourselves or the universe around us is a linguistic exercise to list the pros and cons of one of the Fs or a combination of the Fs applied to a stimulus which in many cases is interpreted as a problem.

 

Can you recall a situation when the application of only one of the Fs gave you an almost perfect outcome?

It is just a lie.

Our beloved Freedom doesn’t exist by itself, is merely the shadow of walls, the bigger the shadow the greater the freedom they project against the light of our capacities.

Do we really love Freedom?

What will be do with more freedom than what we have now? Chose your favorite freedom and imagine you can make it bigger … to do so, the first step is finding what stops your freedom from being bigger in the first place, then try to imagine what will your freedom be like without those walls, now repeat, find again what is the wall containing your newly expanded freedom, and again and again ... There is a trade in, you lose some walls in exchange of the expansion of your favorite freedom and for the first few walls it may seem lovely, but can you get too much of a good thing? Can you lose love to your favorite freedom when it grows?

 

                                Limits can be the best parts of Freedom

I love the freedom to walk, so lets imagine we can walk beyond the limitations of the tiredness of our legs, beyond the limitations of private property, lands limits and then you reach the Ocean shore, why to stop there, yes you can walk on water, keep walking, now walk on air, keep walking, walk through space, all this walk made you nostalgic? Why not walk through time? Walk to the horizon of the Creation, look back, how you like walking now?

We may find love for new freedoms while we turn down the walls of smaller freedoms, but we give something every time we abandon a well define freedom for the lure of a freedom we don’t have well explored yet, and at the end the ultimate freedom takes it all.

Not to make it.

What if you chose to don’t win at the games of life? No success, no glory. At the very least you will find yourself in the biggest group, lots of comrades and there is safety in numbers or at least comfort. No risk, no pain of growing or loosing, little changes. You get to preserve the most of you as you may avoid giving yourself to any cause or purpose. You may not achieve absolute zero  but staying on the first steps also takes some work.

Make it by work.

Oh, the comforts and safety of eating from a cubiclized bucket, just put your head to it, day in day out, eat from it, grow, look down, look into the details on the table, master the routines, enjoy being an Ox.

What can go wrong? Is an honorable and fairly safe live. Is living in the center of the fish school, your world will be created and defined by the sacrifice of explorers, and you too will sacrifice for them feeding them with your grinding.

As far as time is perceived, the shadow of change will be casted. When we pasture with our heads down is harder to see how the valley moves and yet they do, mountains and oceans dance like starts and black holes, everything changes on time. The Ox that dies before changes catch up with him is a happy Ox, the less lucky ones struggle to stay afloat on the waves of changes, loosing much or all.

The bean counter will build a gold wall if only given a tedious age.
